LOCATION: Remote and wildlife-rich far southern reaches of South Luangwa National Park.

SETTING: On the banks of the Luangwa River backing onto a seasonal lagoon.

ACCOMMODATION: Four elevated traditional safari-style tents, each with ca. 460 sq ft of indoor floor space set on a wooden platform with an adjoining verandah. Each tent feature a King Size bed that can be converted into two twin beds. Tents have 24-hr electricity and ceiling fans.

HIGHLIGHTS: Family owned and operated. Remote setting with no others camps in proximity. Excellent game viewing and warm hospitality.

ACTIVITIES: 

• Game drives in custom built open safari vehicles with modified suspension, individual luxury seats, comfortable footrests and holders for an array of equipment. Their roof canopy is designed to be easily removed upon request and each has Manfrotto camera rests. All-day game-drives can be arranged on request.

• Guided Walking Safaris bring out the highlights of this wilderness area.

• Bush Meals in spectacular settings, normally on the banks of the Luangwa River.

• Spend time in special Photographic Hides adjacent to a watering hole or the lagoon to view wildlife, or on the banks of the Luangwa River to get up close and personal with the colorful carmine bee-eaters.

CHILD POLICY: Kulandila does not accommodate children under 12 years of age, unless the camp is booked exclusively, in which case children are welcome. Children 12-16 pay reduced rates.​

GETTING THERE: Rates include 20-minute flights between Mfuwe International Airport and Sungani airstrip in a custom Cessna 206 (4pax). If preferred, collection can be done by road which takes around 3 hours. Chartering direct from Lusaka or other points in Zambia is also an option. Please note that guests need to arrive at Mfuwe during the day (morning flight) so that the transfer can be completed before dark.
