Remote Africa Safaris - Zambia
Located in the vast and game-abundant South and North Luangwa National Parks in Zambia, Remote Africa Safaris offers guests access to secluded camps and excellent game viewing opportunities.

Five intimate camps, built entirely by local villagers from natural materials, present comfortable accommodation for six to fourteen guests. Here – thanks to the perfect simplicity of the experience – guests are afforded the opportunity to reconnect with nature uncompromised. The setting, the phenomenal array of fauna and flora, the extensive variety of activities and the constant involvement of the owners and experienced team, ensure that the Remote Africa Safaris offering is a captivating and rewarding nature-based experience.

Two of the camps, Tafika in South Luangwa and Takwela in North Luangwa offer morning, afternoon and night game drives in open vehicles, along with options for walking safaris and even mountain bike safaris (at Tafika.)

The other three camps, Chikoko Tree and Big Lagoon in South Luangwa and Mwaleshi in North Luangwa specialize in walking safaris only. Unparallelled in Southern Africa, Chikoko Tree and Big Lagoon are in a completely roadless wilderness where you even have a short walk to reach camp. Perfect for purists who want to completely immerse themselves in this stunning area. Mwaleshi also specializes in walking, but has a vehicle to reach more remote starting points for walks in various areas of this interesting landscape (Mwaleshi in inside the rhino sanctuary in North Luangwa).
